With over a decade of experience in the fitness and leisure industry, I have built a dynamic career that spans from hands-on fitness instruction to strategic management and marketing. My journey began in 2011 as a group class instructor, where I quickly expanded my role to teach numerous weekly classes. Over the years, I also worked as a fitness instructor and personal trainer, gaining a deep understanding of fitness and wellness.In 2018, I transitioned to a managerial role as a Duty and Fitness Manager. This shift allowed me to leverage my extensive industry knowledge while embracing new responsibilities in management and customer relations. I developed skills in team leadership, customer service, and operational management, which were crucial in my role.During my tenure, I also took on additional roles such as Social Media Champion, overseeing Facebook and Instagram for our Worksop gym area, and Rebrand Champion, where I contributed to rebranding our old Fitness Flex gym brand to the new "Your Space." I played a key role in redeveloping our Worksop gym, from gym floor layout to selecting new Technogym equipment and managing the grand reopening.In 2022, I embraced a new challenge as a Senior Marketing Executive, expanding my expertise beyond fitness to include family entertainment, golf, bowling, and water parks. My current role involves managing multiple social media platforms, setting up and being included in planning digital campaigns, overseeing website changes and developments, creating simple videos and designs in Adobe and Canva, and overseeing and utilising digital solutions for all our business areas. This diverse experience has enriched my skill set and provided me with a broad perspective on marketing and business operations.I am passionate about driving growth and engagement through innovative marketing strategies and am always eager to learn and adapt to new challenges.Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, exploring new activities, continuously expanding my knowledge in the fitness and leisure industry, and keeping up with the latest technological innovations.
