My role at Ann Summers covers the end to end management of Logistics and supply chain, Managing 2 DCs, 100+ FTE and reporting to the CFO. I am responsible for Logistics and Supply chain strategy, budgets and projects and have delivered significant improvement and efficiency including cross functional work as an SME.

Main Responsibilities for Supply Chain:• Managed, Over 350 staff, inc restructure, agency management, training plans and KPI• MHE, Purchasing, maintenance and training• Stock control, Replenishment, adjustments, financial management, returns.• Goods in/supply chain from shipment in the Far east to UK delivery, inc customs and freight• All sales channels – Ecommerce, wholesale, Distribution, Consignment stock. • Cost reduction• Health and Safety• 3rd party customer stock (Connextions)• Own fleet and sub-contracted transport• Supplier performance management• Customer liaison, reviews and assessment• IT systems, inc NAV, sales database (for sales force), Inventory feeds for customers, Warehouse IT, Business infrastructureKey achievements:• Developed an Ecommerce strategy increasing drop shipping from 4k to over 20k parcels per day• Introduced an inventory feed to Ecommerce partners and integrated systems• Increased the Fleet of Vehicles at Connextions• Upgraded NAV from 2009 to 2013R2 on Sequel• Split the NAV system into 3 databases to enhance performance• Upgraded the IT infrastructure, improving performance and reducing cost• Increased profit, by reducing costs• Created a board of Directors and introduced Operations meetings and aligned strategy across the companies and departments• Managed the Installation of warehouse systems, racking, IT into our new 250,000 sq ft Distribution centre• Took and Passed my FLT training• Employed, trained and developed staff with the changes we were making• Created shift patterns and new roles, hierarchy and staff structure

Stock control for RKW LTD. My first position with the company, and some considerable change has taken place since then. The position involved raising, placing and progressing purchase orders, under the direction of the Buying/Managing Directors. The department grew from me working alone, to 5 people when i took on the role of Purchasing Manager in 2005.
