Chemical engineer needed a count of days since the last boilout of boiler which would reset to zero after each boilout. Tasks included leading meetings with end users for requirements gathering, researching boilout criteria and calculation tag logic, and deployment of Last Boilout Days Counter calculation tag into PI Historian, resulting in improved communication among engineers and a reliable method for tracking boilouts• Developed SSRS report for Recovery Department. Tasks included requirements gathering, leading meetings with end users and IT consultants, SQL query testing and debugging, and deployment. End result was that department managers can verify safety checklist completion in a fraction of the time they previously spent• Promoted from Application Development Specialist II to Application Development Specialist III in 2016• Led review of support documentation for high priority applications in MEAS-West region. Scheduled meetings with local mill analysts to recreate troubleshooting processes and update documentation to reflect hardware and software changes and upgrades
