Provide mid-market manufacturing companies with business process and Microsoft Axapta (Dynamics AX) software expertise. Collaborated with client to modify Dynamics AX 2009 to perform physical inventories including material components and work in process items. Developed product configurator models to determine the raw material and routing requirements for a high precision forging company and address the ordering needs of a specialty steel fabrication job shop. Designed and deployed a modification to facilitate the tracking of inbound container shipments. Reduced import and process time by 75% by architecting a vendor purchase order interface. Supervise, design and implement software enhancements and business processes that reduced product build to shipment time from 10 minutes to 1.5 minutes per order line Implement cycle counting program for $80 million manufacturing and distribution company Manage successful Axapta 3.0 implementation at a $3.5 million chemical batch processing and packaging company.  Develop and deploy paper distribution specific enhancements to order, track and analyze item number usage resulting in a 50% reduction in SKU duplications at a $16.5 million paper distributor. Lead consultant for an AX 4.0 implementation at a $50 million multi-site electronics manufacturing company. Design and implement AX 4.0 modifications addressing precious metals bill of material content, costing and pricing; additional cost category functionality; enhanced forecast consumption and scheduling logic; improved scrap reporting and reason code analysis and enhanced cycle count and variance reporting functions. Lead manufacturing consultant for an $18 million configure to order manufacturing company.

Provide business process expertise to mid-market manufacturing companies implementing Enterprise Resource Planning software. Provided distribution expertise to a $60 million company during the software sales cycle. Led business process improvement plan development at a $50 million manufacturing company. Successfully led process analysis and MAS500 Manufacturing module implementation for a $12 million chemical manufacturing company. Managed and provided manufacturing expertise for an Axapta ERP implementation at an $80 million manufacturing company.

Implement processes and procedures and systems that improved productivity and quality for several divisions of a $10 billion manufacturing company. Managed a project team of four individuals across the IT and Accounting departments that was tasked with completing the Boomerang and Ariba expense reporting tools. Project was completed on time and under budget, and introduced efficiencies that saved 70 user-hours per month. Successfully implemented Ariba 6.1/7.0 MRO e-procurement tool that streamlined the ordering of indirect materials at 12 facilities in two countries. Managed the project team that created the Oracle 11i ERP model that was made available throughout the corporation. Created all training materials for the BaaN IVc ERP distribution and manufacturing modules, saving Dana $50,000 in consulting fees to prepare the documentation. Acted as corporate liaison to evaluate the BaaN implementation in South America, designing remediation and testing plans to ensure data integrity and system functionality post-implementation.
