Manage new reporting installations, from requirement gathering all the way to UAT and training, including resource planning and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.• Managed the implementation of a new Business Objects (4.1) implementation which allows internal staff to access and create reports (webi) based on messaging data. I worked on and managed all aspects of this project from requirement gathering to running the user training sessions. • Led a team to replace an old internal reporting system with a new implementation of business objects, from initial requirement gathering, specification writing, universe design, report creation (webi), UAT, go-live and post go-live support. • Worked as a key stakeholder during the implementation of a new CRM system, Salesforce.com and worked with US consultants in order to modify and create reports and dashboards that would work using the new Salesforce .com data structure. This required constant dialogue with users throughout the business, from senior directors down to support staff level.• Having been purchased by SAP in 2010, I played a major role in the implementation of the SAP CRM 7 tool, from initial requirement sessions in Germany, to writing requirement documents, development, testing, implementation and on-going reporting support. • Worked closely with the BI team based in California I specified and helped to create around 200 Web intelligence reports that have replaced existing Salesforce.com and Crystal reports within Business Objects, running off universes based on a Sybase IQ data warehouse.• Improved efficiency on legacy Crystal reports by introducing dedicated SQL stored procedures, functions and database triggers.Gather and interpret user requirements in order to create ad-hoc reports within requested timescales.Set up and manage scheduled reports within Business Objects.

AchievementsOver a period of 3 years, I used Visual Basic .NET to develop an extensive new Property Management application "BenchMark"Helped develop the reporting capabilities of “BenchMark” by utilising in-depth reporting (Crystal Reports), and making full use of SQL stored procedures, in order to minimise application code and optimise performance. Wrote "Hexagon Report Manager" which takes raw data from an Access/SQL database and automatically creates user friendly reports in Microsoft Excel as specified by our clients. Writing and maintaining "HexDev", the in house support application, which stores all internal and external jobs logged by employees and customers. This converted the existing UNIX query logging system into a Windows based application, modernising for support staff and our clients.
