I'm now responsible for implementing blockchain technology into the banking world. My current focus is developing, marketing, and executing our Digital Financing product .. happy to report we are live with a variety of financial institutions .. with nearly $1 trillion in volume since inception.

I was promoted .. in charge of 30+ people around the world, responsible for supporting the multi billion dollar JPM fixed income universe. I also continued my plight to improve efficiency and update technology .. sometimes I was successful and other times it felt like I was using an abacus. The most memorable assignment was attempting to compress the repo trade lifecycle .. which eventually led to a brand new product which you can read about above.

My first serious management role, leading a team of 16 people, supporting 150+ traders and sales people across the Rates and Public Finance businesses.At this point, driving technological change was one of my core responsibilities. I led a handful of key initiatives to reduce tech costs and improve user experience that were successful. I also led the design and planning of dozens of projects that died on the vine, gaining valuable insight into the challenges of innovation in a large bureaucracy.

I moved to NYC to take a role as a trading assistant for the US treasuries desk, then the largest dealer on the street. Essentially, I was responsible for everything that took place after the trade was executed, ensuring that the thousands of daily transactions were processed and settled correctly. Here I gained valuable exposure to trade execution technology, adding to the list of primitive tools keeping multibillion dollar businesses afloat.

Started my career at JPM in the back office in Newark DE, right as the financial crisis was starting. I was happy to have the job. I eventually worked my way into a team lead role. This was my first exposure to the inefficiency and manual risk of operations at a big bank.
