• In-house drilling engineer for XTO Energy operations based in the Ardmore and Arkoma Woodford and Fayetteville Shale basins• Focus on drilling dysfunctions and drilling optimization; major projects include:― Study the effects that 6 inch bit gauge length has on lateral vibration levels and drilling performance for AutoTrak Curve RSS in the Granite Wash basin― Compare the effects that motor selection and bit design have on drilling dysfunctions and drilling performance for AutoTrak Curve RSS in the Ardmore and Arkoma Woodford shale basins• Conduct root cause analyses for drilling system failures; major projects include:― Determine root cause for a series of AutoTrak Curve RSS failures that occurred over the course of a three year period using historical data from over 25 wells• Design and optimize bottom hole assemblies, specializing in rotary steerable systems• Model hydraulics, torque and drag for drilling systems• Perform cost and drilling performance analyses for drilling systems; major projects include:― Prove to operator the cost effectiveness of AutoTrak Curve RSS in the Fayetteville Shale basin using two years of historical data

• Set up surface systems and logging tools for formation evaluation at the well site for data acquisition in real-time• Create real-time Gamma Ray and surface data logs, and ensure data integrity and log quality• Troubleshoot surface system hardware and software malfunctions at the well site• Proficient in electromagnetic and mud pulse telemetries • Experience with both conventional steerable and rotary steerable systems

• Size lines and components for bulk storage and mixing systems• Check and revise piping and instrumentation diagrams • Manage projects: procure project components; obtain bids for and award manufacturing, electrical and programming contracts; construct scopes of work; organize project budgets
