Employed as curriculum lead of Key Stage 2 and 3 PE, and as a teacher of science and humanities in Key Stage 2 and 3. I teach pupils between the ages of 9 and 13, teaching sports and activities such as basketball, football, rugby league, dance, fitness, gymnastics, cricket, rounders, table tennis, hockey and handball. I run under 13 and under 11 football, basketball and cricket teams at the school, as well as running lunchtime sports clubs.Duties: • Maintaining standards of good behaviour by applying disciplinary action, as appropriate and in accord with the agreed Behaviour Policy and Reward and Sanctions Policy. • Delivering high quality lessons, evaluating their impact and developing future planning accordingly. • Register the attendance of pupils. • Produce long term and medium term plans for PE to be delivered from Year 5 to 8. • Produce risk assessments for all PE activities from Year 5 to 8. • Making effective use of data to monitor and evaluate pupil’s progress. • Attend parents evenings and achievement days. • Developing a close relationship between the school and the local community.• Taking on the role as a form tutor for a Year 7 group.

Employed as a PE teacher. I taught pupils between the ages of 11 and 16, for practical PE. I also taught BTEC Level 2 and GCSE Leisure and Tourism. I ran a Year 9 football team, Year 9 futsal team, Year 10 basketball team and Year 7 and 8 rugby league teams. Due to the school containing over 70% of students entitled to the Pupil Premium and high numbers of students with SEND, the requirement of effective differentiation and behaviour management was vital, in order to deliver good/outstanding lessons.

Employed as football coach, work in local primary schools on the Match Fit scheme and coach on weekends and school holidays.

Employed as a Learning Support Assistant working with pupils in secondary education, and as a form tutor for the behavioural group.
