In this role I was responsible for the technical direction and growth of the company. I continued to support large strategic technical sales, provided executive sponsorship to engineering, marketing, and internal IT, as well as working more on executive leadership overall and advisor to the CEO. I developed and lead the new marketing capabilities which included working with the outsourced marketing company to develop the messaging and marketing plan. I was responsible for leading the technical marketing programs, developing the process for marketing, and eventually hiring a dedicated marketing employee. I was also responsible for developing and leading the channel/partner alliances department. I hired a dedicated resource, help develop the program with the channel manager, provided guidance and executive sponsorship to assist in our OEM relationship growth and help drive rebate and other back end funds.

As part of the promotion I performed many of the same responsibilities as technical director, but with more focus on building an engineering team and advising in business decisions for growth areas. I continued to develop advanced solutions for customers and driving deeper relationships with OEMs. During this period we averaged 100% YoY revenue growth, while growing the company from 3 to 18 employees.

In this role I performed as the subject matter expert on all technical aspects for the company. I was responsible for both customer facing and internal company technology solutions. I worked with OEMs and customers to develop and deploy advanced architectures. I was responsible for driving both HW/SW and advanced professional services revenue, as well as delivering those solutions. Internal technology duties included developing the company IT solutions, this included building cyber and unified communications plan.

In this role I served as a subject matter expert in Cisco Security Solutions for the DoD. I was responsible for helping drive revenue growth in the Cisco portfolio by providing solution consulting, technical sales support, and perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations. My direct area of focus was the US Navy where we successfully achieved over 120% of quota in year one. We successfully achieved a competitive security architecture take out for a major program, as well as executed the largest (at the time) Cisco Security enterprise agreement in public sector. I was recognized as Public Sector Employee of the Quarter in FY2016. I received Sales Champion and Excellence award FY2016.

I provided network and security engineering for commercial, enterprise and healthcare sectors. I worked with the Sales & Pre Sales teams to engineer solutions. I was responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing a secure solution to meet business requirements, deploying/implementing solutions, executing test cases, and documenting results

I was responsible for developing secure network solutions for Force 3 customers. I specialized in complex network and security architectures. I demonstrated new network security technologies, and worked with customer to perform proof of concepts. I would develop build of materials (BOM), Statements of work (SOW), and compose technical proposals based on the outcome of customer requirements and design meetings.

I was responsible for delivering secure network solutions to Presidio customers. I specialized in various technologies including Cisco enterprise routing/switching, Cisco firewalls, Cisco VPN, Cisco IronPort content security, SourceFire, and MobileIron mobile device management (MDM). I was also responsible for managing the delivery of the solution, and closing projects on or under budget.

I was responsible for delivering secure network projects to Force 3 clients. The projects include well-documented design documents, logical and physical Visio diagrams, and the ability to effectively provide the clients with project knowledge transfer. Provide Force 3’s DoD sales staff with technical consulting for network security products, which includes working with customers to provide the best solution to solve their business requirements. Provided network management to over 800 Cisco switches and 14 Cisco routers. Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing the Network Access Control for Ft Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. Provided the network design and oversight for the continuity of operations (COOP) between Ft Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. Responsible for maintaining full network diagrams for all network services. This included both logical and physical diagrams. Provided support for all SIPRNet engineering. This includes all new installation designs and equipment purchases. Responsible for maintaining all network devices configurations. This includes updating configurations to mitigate CATI/II/III vulnerabilities.

Engineered and implemented 3rd Infantry Division’s secure network; to include all Division and Tenant Units. Equipment included Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco routers, Cisco ASA firewalls, KIV-19 encryption device, and KG-175(TACLANE) encryption devices. Provided network design and implementation for various unit exercises. This included 3 Division level Command Post Exercises and the WIN-T INC 2 limited user test. Provided network support of 3rd Infantry Division’s SIPRNet. This included over 50 network nodes across Ft Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, and over 10,000 end users. Engineered and implemented the 3rd Infantry Division’s Voice over Secure IP network. Equipment implemented was Cisco CallManagers and Cisco VoIP phones.
