I created my own brand of Italian ice and operated six (6) locations in Philadelphia. All recipes, products, operations, and branding were all of my own vision and desire to create a frozen desert concept from the ground up.

I joined the franchise system of Sonic-Drive-In. Sonic is an American drive-in fast-food restaurant chain based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. With over 3,557 Sonic restaurants in 45 U.S. states, Sonic is the leader in quick service drive-in restaurants. I owned and operated (8) eight stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I was the first franchisee to open my first (2) two locations within a short 3 week period of each other.

Having been elected by the franchisee community, I have served on a variety of franchised boards within the Sonic system. Including but not limited to the Strategic Planning Board, Marketing Board, New Product Development Board, Construction Board and multiple other facets of building the franchisee/franchisor relationships.

I owned properties that were both residential and commercial. All locations were either ground up construction, to rehabs and remodels. As an overall conclusion I've completed over (50) transactions in real estate.

At the age of 21 I became the youngest franchisee (at that time) of the Rita’s Italian Ice Franchise. In the years to come I became their largest operator with (8) eight stores. One of the greatest thrills of my career as a franchisee with Rita's has been working with teenagers. We've had 100's of teens come through our locations over the years. It's been fun to watch their experiences at Rita's, which is usually their first job. People who have taken advantage of the opportunity at Rita's have become remarkable professional adults, parents, and spouses after they leave Rita's. I'm glad I still have friendships with many of them, and it's really neat to think that I contributed in some way to their development and growth. I’m grateful for this experience.

Saladworks is a restaurant franchise that purveys made-to-order entrée salads, wraps, soups, and sandwiches. Saladworks was a leader in fresh, healthy, fast take-out before it was trendy.

I started this first business just a few months after graduating high school at age (18) eighteen. This first venture was a turn around grocery store operation in Philadelphia.

This second grocery store location was also a turnaround operation located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
