I was contracted on a short-term basis, to help launch the company based on experience I had with brand development working for the University of Florida's Business Services Division.I led all creative and marketing functions.I drafted the company's initial business plan.I developed all initial branding materials.I developed the company's initial marketing and advertising strategy.I developed a line of apparel, with buy-in and support from the University of Florida's licensing and retail departments, that was to be marketed toward executives (the company didn't have sufficient capital to bring the product line to market).I developed a long-standing customer base that allowed the company to grow.

I served as a full-service, one-man communications team for the University’s Transportation and Parking Services department; in this role I was responsible for all communications activities and managed a small team of research assistants. I developed strategies that guided the department's outward communications.I worked with all levels of the University community, up to the Vice President's office.I helped to develop the "Gator 1 Central" brand that was used to bundle retail services to university students.I developed, designed, and implemented all online and print communications disseminated by the department.I instituted methods of enabling 2-way symmetrical communication with relevant stakeholder groups which gave department leadership relevant insight to alter operations in ways that benefited the University community.I represented the department at large public-speaking events. I conducted multiple special research projects including assessing viability for adoption of non-gas powered vehicles to replace the existing gas-powered fleet, and developing real-time monitoring of parking facility utilization trends.
