Started my Career at Beacon Pest Control based out of Ancaster Ontario after I completed college. I began working as a summer student for the owner and then was asked to come on full time. The next summer I was promoted to manager and helped with the on-boarding and training of new employees. I love helping clients resolve their pest and wildlife issues with kindness and compassion. Always ensuring the job is done efficiently and quickly while also guaranteeing the results.

In early 2008 a new exciting movie theatre was opening and I had the chance to go to a job fair for an interview. I was lucky enough to be one of the candidates selected to be the first employees of the new theatre. I worked Outtakes and Pizza Pizza, followed by a move to the floor team. Working in the kitchen aided me with food handling skills as well as time management and sanitation. I was also responsible for cash handling and working the till. On the floor team the skills needed were more interpersonal skills, ensuring guest satisfaction, and helping with any confusion or issues that arise. I was honoured to spend almost 7 years with this amazing company.
