Responsible for developing the online business for Health Sciences in Germany. Work as part of the management team to implement best practice in online product development, develop business strategy for online, drive organisational and mindset change, and to catalyse the group into accelerating its future online business.

Consulting across Elsevier's Health Science International group. Working with country Managing Directors to develop online strategy, and with their groups to implement product development processes and organisations to ensure online products meet both strategic and customer needs. Introduced core understanding and ability to develop solid business cases.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Elsevier's Health Science UK/NL group, had responsibility for strategy development and tactical delivery of all online products. Managed and delivered the relaunch of TheLancet.com, from concept to launch.

Oversaw a number of projects from the Health Science division business units. The role was part of a central group within Elsevier Health Sciences that took responsibility for product management of all divisional projects. Started working with The Lancet, and other European groups, which led me on to the next role, working directly for the Managing.

Managed the interface between the IT development group and their internal customers. Discussed business and product plans with the business units and assisted in communicating these ideas back to the IT group to implement. This position involved project management responsibility for some projects.

Developed customer facing websites for both the Science and Technology, and Health Sciences divisions within Elsevier.

Worked alongside a major aircraft manufacturer on a new fast jet project, focussing on implementation of the mission control computer.
