Working at a senior level with a number of organisations in the private and public sectors, including central government bodies on their Estates and Facilities strategy. Liaising with ‘Government Property Unit’ and ‘Cabinet Office’ to ensure leases align with the strategic medium-term programme to co-locate government departments into large office ‘hub’ properties, around the UK, with a subsequent disposal of 75% of legacy sites, will see a reduction from 800 to 200 properties, saving £4.5billionDeveloping and delivering property and facilities management strategies, alongside the 'estates focused' cultural and organisational change required to embed the new approaches. Delivering reductions in property footprints and refurbishing offices - enabling the introduction of agile working environments to a range of sites. Working across a portfolio of commissions and organisations to prepare for the transition to the Government Hubs, including at/with Equality & Human Rights Commission offices, Valuation Office Agency (VOA), HMRC, Dept. for Education, DEFRA, Natural England, Dept. for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS), Dept. for Communities & Local Government and others.

Ensuring financial and strategic objectives are set out and delivered to the satisfaction of the main board. Working with the shareholders, leading on the strategic review of the organisation’s property portfolio, acting as either landlord or tenant capacity.Budget responsibility of £24m pa revenue expenditure and a significant capital expenditure programme Direct a team of 340 across 32 major UK sites, the two most significant being a Grade 2* listed head office campus, where 2300 colleagues are based and a 1’000’000 sq.ft. distribution centre. Sites in the portfolio include; offices, retail units, DC’s / warehouses, data centres and call centres. Instigated and led a transformative colleague ‘wellbeing’ programme, culminating in the delivery of a large multi-purpose venue able to deliver; major conferences (up to 400 attendees), staff training sessions and a number of health and wellbeing services (such as fitness classes, health checks, dietary advice and a healthy food outlet).
