IT Business Relationship Manager for the External Services Division of the DNR, supporting the Bureaus of Environmental Analysis and Sustainability, Waterways, and Customer Outreach Services.

Lead large, high priority cross functional projects for the organization. Completed the first global system implementation project for Exact Sciences across multiple business units, products and countries. Provide indirect leadership to multiple project resources from various business functions.

Managed and delivered multiple parallel initiatives including highly visible website migration projects and a large-scale global business transformation and system consolidation project. Provided ongoing support to process definition and development efforts as part of the project manager Center of Excellence.

As the manager of the University of Wisconsin-Shared Services (UWSS) Service Evolution department I helped teams focus on providing a variety of customized business solutions in an efficient and meaningful way to drive customer value. Service Evolution consists of the Project Management Office, the Readiness and Optimization team, and the Continuous Improvement program.

I provide expertise in project planning and management support to aid in the development, maintenance and modification of new and existing services. My recent focus has included organizational structure development, organizational process design, and cross-functional leadership meeting facilitation.

As a Project Manager, I supported the Human Resources System (HRS) and secondary systems by managing cross-functional projects at the University of Wisconsin Service Center. I worked closely with Developers, PeopleSoft Liaisons, Security, IT Leaders and staff, PMO analysts, Service Center HRIS analysts, and UW Service Center mangers to deliver integrated business solutions.

In this role I worked within the healthcare practice management environment and the Epic application suite. Used my skills to identify and address process issues and workflow optimization within Epic’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software suite. My primary role was to be an extension of the client’s Epic IS project team, working directly with other team members, providers, practice managers, and senior leadership to successfully resolve complex business systems issues in support of the client’s business operations.

Partnered with senior leaders to identify business needs, problems, or opportunities, and to define the scope and feasibility of a solution. This included analysis and justification of the investment required to meet that selected solution. Negotiated agreement and commitment by facilitating communication between Officers, business leaders/areas, Human Resources, Communications, Credit Union Strategy, Finance, IT and other supporting areas. Provided business analysis leadership in research, change management, planning and execution. Provided analysis, advice and counsel for complex projects, strategic planning/projects, and change management efforts. Provided direct supervision, coaching and guidance to assigned peers, and other project staff within the team and business leaders.- Work with company Officers, business leaders/areas, Human Resources, Communications, Credit Union Strategy, Finance, IT and other supporting areas and staff for the purpose of analysis, advice and counsel. - Lead change management and/or research efforts on assigned projects that are broad in scope or deep in complexity.- Analyze business operations to understand strengths and weaknesses, and perceived and unperceived needs and identify improvement opportunities in the three areas of people, process, and technology. In this contract position I performed a variety of complex business analysis and strategy functions. This often consisted of managing multiple parallel projects including third party negotiations, confidential assignments, high level and detailed requirement analysis, detailed technology analysis, process re design, transition planning, implementation operations support, and training plans. Part of my role was to work closely with Director and VP level resources to design, develop and document core strategy processes to evaluate ongoing operations and to set the foundation for future product development efforts.

I provided Senior Business Analyst support for multiple internal projects including data research, benefit proposals, and feasibility analysis. - Created executive presentations and managed data analysis for a new insurance benefit proposals.- Designed and implemented an analysis request process to increase efficiency and accuracy in the department.- Performed vendor contract analysis to communicate organizational impact and provide financial projections.- Designed and tested a new user interface for an existing database and led educational sessions on the design.- Investigated the financial and organizational impact of internalizing outsourced processes.

I earned certifications in the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing, Prelude and ADT applications. I managed the simultaneous implementation of five software applications as the Implementation Coordinator for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. This included management of project timelines, budgets, testing and training material coordination, and coordinated internal and customer teams. I also implemented the Hospital Billing application for the Northern California region of Kaiser Permanente. This included detailed design, build, and implementation leadership coordinating internal and customer application coordinators. I fully supported the implementation from initial design sessions through multiple hospital go live training and support.

In this role I facilitated efforts with Quality Assurance, study directors, and study teams to meet specific research deadlines and provide accurate information while following Good Laboratory Practices. This work included working closely with several pharmaceutical companies to develop study protocols and create detailed data reports for submission to the FDA.
