Packaging Manager :Oversaw Central and String Inverter Packaged products in North America with an annual budget of $50M, including leading the import of solar products into the US for integration into a packaged solution to provide added value for ABB and its customers.- Leveraged synergies between divisions by developing a group SharePoint to control and share all relevant product information with engineering and sales.- Contributed to the product development efforts by conceptualizing new products to add to the ABB portfolio, working with design, engineering, and suppliers to develop and launch product into the market.- Standardized the product portfolio to reduce costs, decrease lead times, and improve margins.- Slashed product costs over thirty percent by working with suppliers on the design of the product. Managed Ultra & Trio Products for 20kW to 1560kW inverters for North America along with a $147M annual budget. Turned around the Ultra product financial performance within 3 quarters by focusing on driving improvements in production quality, supply chain, labor efficiency, material transportation, and logistics, which netted a P&L improvement.- Transformed the entire Ultra production processes to a leaner organized cell manufacturing system, which resulted in 35%-40% gains in productivity.- Reduced repair depot cycle time from 3 weeks to 48 hours while improving customer OTD from 73% to 95%.- Executed S&OP process to reduce overall product lead time from 10 weeks to 2 weeks.- Integrated EV charger from Hungry and Train Traction system from Switzerland, which successfully completed in Q3- 2014.- Launched new specs of Ultra 1.5MW with wide MPPT operating range.- Implemented corrective and preventive actions to eliminate the re-occurring failures internally and externally for both customers and suppliers.
