Ink Technology Expert, with 35 years experience in chemical engineering and 27 years of R&D experience in ink formulation and advanced technology development. Credited with developing several novel ink formulations. R&D contributions have resulted in 4 trade secrets, and 51 Filled Patent Applications and 17 Granted Patents. Recognized for developing new generation of inks for digital printing. Developing the R&D and technology capabilities of the new Inks and Coatings Division. Developed formulations and technologies for the first ever graphene-based inks for screen, flexographic and gravure printing, including formulations tailored to specific customer needs. Developed a flexographic printing ink used in the first world's first commercial graphene-containing product.- Vorbeck became the first company in the world to bring a graphene-based product to market with the 2009 launch of Vor-ink™, a graphene-based conductive ink.Unique combination of experience including fundamental R&D and optimization of ink formulations, process scale-up, characterization, and technology improvement.
