Our focus is on providing innovative products and outstanding customer support.In my role as scientific director I lead a group of scientists and engineers providing technical sales support, developing new products, improving existing product lines and interacting with key opinion leaders in life science research.

Managed the global launch of the CellDrop line of automated cell counters, an innovative system that removes plastic consumables from the cell counting workflow. The CellDrop has been successfully established in the market and won the new product of the year and green product of the year awards from Select Science.

Used high throughput RNAi screening and various other genetic and molecular techniques to identify potential drug targets in mosquito born emergent viruses. Programmed a bioinformatics database to analyze data from our screens.

Used mouse models and multicolor flow cytometry to investigate T cell activation and the adaptive immune system. Designed and developed novel multicolor flow cytometry based techniques.

Responsible for researching and writing marketing and sales literature for the NanoDrop product lines. Worked directly with customers both as an internal sales representative and to establish external contacts to explore new markets for our products. Acted as the primary representative for the applications group in the development of the NanoDrop 2000 and 2000c where I provided scientific expertise to the engineering and marketing teams to set product parameters and develop marketing strategies.
