Created multi-tenant site search product using Elasticsearch, REST APIs, Vue.js and a modified open source web crawler. System now contains over 9 million documents and is servicing over 1 million requests per month.Restructured hundreds of small Elasticsearch indices into a single large index. This dramatically reduced total shard count resulting in less memory consumption, better performance, and cut billing by 50%.Dockerized multiple services and prepared CI/CD pipelines for seamless rollouts.Tied multiple repos together with docker-compose to create a unified, configurable development experience.Directed all logs and metrics to a dedicated Elasticsearch logging cluster with support for open tracing. Aside from design and implementation, responsibilities included developing product road maps and leading scrums.Created interactive workspace using SVGs as the graphical basis that allowed users to create diagrams, schematics, and simple layouts.Revamped existing wiring algorithms to support real-time routing of wired connections. Algorithm was executed by web workers in order to maintain real time drawing performance.Profiled and benchmarked C# code to optimize the load time of design files. This ultimately led to a hybrid file format that leveraged both Protobuf and XML, and decreased initial load time by 10x.
