• Designed and oversaw design efforts for large structural frame weldments, fabrications, machining's, and an electric over hydraulic system for locomotion.• Managed a small group of designers focusing on new product development and sustaining for concrete screeds.• Responsible for all aspects of the Engineering team including recruiting, hiring, mentoring, assigning work, developing engineering standards, and program management.• Developed Scope of Work documents for upcoming projects and managed the delivery of prototype components to meet the build schedules for various projects.• Developed and managed budgets for prototype shop tools and equipment, human resources, & training.• Created and managed costed Bill of Materials for new products being developed.• Managed vendor interactions, researched new technologies needed for projects, and managed IP protection efforts.

Lead a group of Engineers and Designers focusing on design and redesign for the defense vehicle cabs or capsules and integration of armor into those designs. I work primarily on the JLTV program at this time, but also cover cab work for heavy defense vehicles.
