The Robin Hood foundation targets a small number of mega-wealthy donors by utilizing fundraising galas and other event driven engagements. The organization decided to broaden its reach and introduce everyday New Yorkers to its mission. The challenge then became – How do you maintain exclusivity once you open the doors to eight million people? SOLUTION: Maintain a high level of design and production value for every piece of communication, at every touch point to Robin Hood donors, and when broadening the communication, highlight what we all have in common--a shared love and concern for our city.Robin Hood has been an interesting challenge for a writer.I've written newsletters, annual reports,emails, tweets, speeches and even celebrity scripts for a live Black Eyed Peas concert for 60,000 in Central Park.
