For over ninety years, Lerners has provided a full range of legal services throughout Ontario. As the Chief Information and Innovation Officer, I oversee and lead the Firm's Information Technology team in both the Toronto and London offices. I am also responsible for innovation that creates a business value for the firm through technology and drives Lerners’ goal of Digital Leadership.

I lead IBM Canada's innovation initiatives across the country linking IBM Technology and our clients to start up and scale up companies. I lead a team of eight Business Development executives and manage three of IBM Incubators in Toronto, Hamilton and Calgary

I worked with start-up and scale-up companies across Canada linking them to IBM's Disruptive Technology Platform and with our large enterprise customers. I partnered with Incubators and Technology Business Accelerators to deliver IBM's innovation and incubation initiatives.

As the Associate Vice-President, Research I work in conjunction with Vice President, Research and with faculty and associate research deans to implement the University’s strategic research plan. As a Senior Leader at Western, I am responsible for managing a team of professionals who assist in developing research proposals of strategic national and international importance to Western. I also manage Western’s Offices of Research Services and Research Ethics.

Between 2001 and 2010, The Canadian Language and Literacy Research Network (CLLRNet) supported research, training and knowledge exchange programs to improve the language, literacy and numeracy skills of Canadian children. This work was supported primarily by Industry Canada's Networks of Centres of Excellence Program. That funding ended in 2009, and the Canadian Language and Literacy Research Network ceased operations on March 31, 2010.

As one of the original members of the management team that founded the company, I began as President of ek3 Technologies Inc. and then transitioned into the senior Sales and Marketing position.

As an ILO Officer I was responsible for both technology transfer activities (patenting, licensing) and industry liaison (contracts, grants). I also had the opportunity to assume the position as Acting Director’s for the office.

As a Senior Program Officer, I managed a portfolio of over 350 grant proposals and projects under the University-Industry Program. I reviewed proposals from all NSERC disciplines and all programs – CRD, IOR, and Industrial Research Chairs.

I managed a number of major R&D projects and Investments made by the Government of Ontario and the Premier's Council Technology Fund
