Think about it: we become the ones who set the pace, who outsmart them at their own game. It's not just a dream; it's within our grasp if we choose to be proactive in our approach to cybersecurity. I believe that the best approach to face the cybersecurity challenges of today—and tomorrow—requires both technology and human insight. The size and complexity of the attack surface and the sheer volume of threats require that we embrace technology and leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence. However, automating cybersecurity with technology alone doesn’t work either. You need the experience and creativity—the ability to think outside of the box—that only humans can provide as well. AI is good, but AI plus humans is better—and it is how we will win. This week we announced that Reveald and Epiphany have merged. These are two companies that have each achieved success and momentum on their own, but by combining their strengths and capabilities, we can transform cybersecurity. Together, we have the power to create a future where cybercriminals are the ones on the defensive. We can build a digital world that is resilient, safe, and secure. But it starts with us. It starts with embracing a proactive approach, pushing the boundaries, and refusing to settle for the status quo. Simply put, we can Be Proactive.
