Hopefully it's an interesting read and something of a "founders story":With no one having combined technology with good, nutritional science to offer real-time alerts to fuel during training and comps, we created endur8. launching in the UK and US in 2017, our user-base grew world-wide, helping to improve athletic performance through a direct, scientific approach to fuel planning. I sat on the board as endur8's CEO with our team developing new tech, creating and facilitating international fuelling studies and helping to fine-tune our athlete's in-activity nutrition plans.Products included; the endur8 iOS app which was our launch product, with full performance analytics and real-time alerts to fuel (GHP's Best Personalised Sports Nutrition App - UK at the Fitness and Nutrition Awards 2019), Apple watch app, online Fuel Plan Converter for third party tech-wearables, our nutrition performance studies and endur8's carb measuring drinks bottleWe built a strong B2B model, partnering with some of the largest and fastest growing sport nutrition companies, performance tech companies and event companies both in the UK and US.

Chief Executive Officer & FounderEndur8 May 2016 - Aug 2022Nottingham, United Kingdom- 2016, I recognised that paper fuel plans, taped to bike frames was inefficient- I decided to combine good nutritional science with technology to alert endurance athletes when to fuel and with how much- Began market research immediately, identifying opportunity, market size, cross market links, barriers to market and created a clear business plan to demonstrate how the concept would look in the market place. - By networking, I negotiated for a software development company to build wire frames of the product- I pitched and secured UK private investment using pitch decks of my business model, wire frames and financial projections- Recruited for internal development, to create an iOS app, by planning a clear, simple user journey with an engaging UX and also, implementing necessary gateways, future proofing changes to commercial strategies.- I oversaw and managed testing, development and finally our much anticipate launch in August 2017, by using high quality launch videos, Olympic and international ambassadors and some great PR through internal marketing and PR.- Turning to the US in 2017, I secured our 2nd Investor, this time in the US to give us access to the US market. - I built momentum and brand recognition, and in 2019 we won the Global Health & Pharma - Fitness and Nutrition Award for Best Personalised Sports Nutrition app - UK.- Three further products were launched into the UK/ US markets. This time, through media interviews and strategic partnerships, which were chosen to place us along-side large corporates in Nutrition, tech and events. I did this by carefully identifying specific needs within each market and company, and had our products developed so that these needs were met and delivered upon.- 2020, and we have an international, award winning sports tech company, partnered with some of the largest and fastest growing companies in the sports nutrition, sports tech and sports events markets, trading both at home in the UK and internationally. -
