- 2016, I recognised that paper fuel plans, taped to bike frames was inefficient- I decided to combine good nutritional science with technology to alert endurance athletes when to fuel and with how much- Began market research immediately, identifying opportunity, market size, cross market links, barriers to market and created a clear business plan to demonstrate how the concept would look in the market place. - By networking, I negotiated for a software development company to build wire frames of the product- I pitched and secured UK private investment using pitch decks of my business model, wire frames and financial projections- Recruited for internal development, to create an iOS app, by planning a clear, simple user journey with an engaging UX and also, implementing necessary gateways, future proofing changes to commercial strategies.- I oversaw and managed testing, development and finally our much anticipate launch in August 2017, by using high quality launch videos, Olympic and international ambassadors and some great PR through internal marketing and PR.- Turning to the US in 2017, I secured our 2nd Investor, this time in the US to give us access to the US market. - I built momentum and brand recognition, and in 2019 we won the Global Health & Pharma - Fitness and Nutrition Award for Best Personalised Sports Nutrition app - UK.- Three further products were launched into the UK/ US markets. This time, through media interviews and strategic partnerships, which were chosen to place us along-side large corporates in Nutrition, tech and events. I did this by carefully identifying specific needs within each market and company, and had our products developed so that these needs were met and delivered upon.- 2020, and we have an international, award winning sports tech company, partnered with some of the largest and fastest growing companies in the sports nutrition, sports tech and sports events markets, trading both at home in the UK and internationally.

Held meetings with local business owners, marketing directors and financial directors. After three months in the role, I championed the retail team. The platforms offered at the Nottingham Post whilst I was there, were; print, digital display, Google adwords (a premier partner), Bing and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.

The main purpose of this job was to grow revenue for Northcliffe Media by selling print and digital property advertisements to New home developers across the UK via the phone. This included selling property sponsorship into magazines and newspaper features across all of Northcliffe media's titles. This was to achieve weekly and monthly targets as set by the Internal Team Manager. My key responsibilities were to source and maintain new business, as well as keeping a consistently high customer service to clients, proven by ongoing positive feedback from both clients and the local papers. This was achieved by liaising with account handlers in National agencies, through to managers and CEO's.

I was responsible for the organisation and safety of a full crew with up to sixty passengers in compliance with the MCA regulations. I was responsible for safety procedures on every voyage, including the communication of the safety procedures to the customers, in a speech and through ongoing commentary over a speaker system. Through this role was required to take part in many courses and exams to obtain my commercial boat masters licence including; fire safety, water safety, first aid and a practical exam on the boats.
