Responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure bureau-wide coordination to facilitate cross division exchange of information and collaboration with all industry stakeholders, including bank and nonbank trade associations and significant financial institutions, through the creation of the newly established Office of Financial Institutions and Business Liaison. • Manage and coordinate all industry interaction between the bureau and senior level executives including CEOs, Boards of Directors, and trade associations.• Responsible for ensuring that industries perspective is shared across the bureau and that the bureaus message is communicated to the appropriate industry stakeholders.• Extensive involvement in the development and coordination of all policy issues impacting industry stakeholders including: mortgage, auto lending, student lending, arbitration, financial education, examination process, enforcement, deposit and credit cards, small dollar lending, emerging technologies.• Responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to further understanding of the Bureau’s consumer protection policy priorities and efforts among bank and nonbank trade associations and significant financial institutions. • Organized and led over 1,000 Industry stakeholder meetings including more than 175 meetings with the Director of the Bureau.

Manage the corporations state relations program, relationship with all major realtor trade groups and multiple consumer advocacy organizations. Identify, develop and communicate policy issues impacting the industry associated with the corporation to help mitigate risk and develop strategy to appropriately position the corporation for future impacts.

Represented major book and magazine publishers, direct marketing, and non profit groups in 50 states and at the Federal Trade Commission, on issues directly affecting their business interests and business models.
