PL/1 host programming language support of the Customer Print (transaction print) application aligned to Auto and Health Insurance. This area services and maintains business rules for the insurance lines of business as well as operational postal and finishing business rules for our print, insert, and mailing operations area. I have supported line mode, metacode djde, XICS, and AFP applications. Since 2010, my role has transitioned to administrator and developer of Exstream (Dialogue) applications. I am the primary contact on Exstream application design and development. I've implemented the v9.0.110 Exstream production on mainframe, and recently implemented Command Center and production engine on a cluster of Linux servers. I am currently gaining experience on MessagePoint administration and touchpoint connection to an Exstream application.

Although our Information Technology area is the Systems Department, I feel I am part this professional Information Technologies group. While trained and fully experienced on host mainframe Application Development, a recent product installation has provide insight into the technical aspects of open systems.

I've been in the Systems department since 1985, through many iterations of Solution Development Methodology and organizational changes. I've work projects and supported applications and recovered problems to ensure our Property and Casualty Actuarial and Underwriting business partners had stable, available and reliable systems to conduct their nightly batch processing.

A brief stint in the Policy Master Record update unit using PL/1 host programming language in a very large application and parallel documentation system.

Applied Actuarial supplied business rules into a homegrown rating system utilizing base times rate processing. Applied new discounts and rated coverages, along with thorough testing and validation of the system.
