Supervise civil, structural and mechanical designers in design & drawing generation for petroleum refineries, chemical plants, mineral processing plants, material handling facilities, LNG load-out facilities etc.Coordinate with project managers and project engineers for managing resources required to produce design & fabrication drawing transmittal for "permitting", "contractor bid", and "for construction" purposes.

•Design mechanical handling tools, structural supports & walkways, civil grading & drainage plans for Kennecott Utah Copper's concentrator, refinery, power plant & smelter areas as well as other Mining & Petro Chemical companies.•On-site survey & measurement of equipment & facilities for plant layout, equipment locations, define design criteria & resolve problems. •Respond to shop RFI's from fabricators, contractors and vendors•Generate general arrangement, assembly, detail and design drawings using Solidworks 3D Models & AutoCAD 2D•Schedule & attend meetings with potential future clients to discuss engineering/construction projects & proposal requirements
