I have a wide range of skills and ability. From working as a manager in a large national pest control company, to working as an assembly line worker at a large automaker (this is where I started my college education). I received an AA from Sinclair Community college in Engineering Technology. I was always working on mechanisms as a hobby and tinkering, I then transferred to the University of Dayton to slowly work on my BS degree while working in the factory. Graduated in 2007, while employed at a manufacturing company as a designer/engineer. Eventually made my way into managing the engineering department. Started working in my Masters in Engineering management. Left for personal family reasons, not job reasons and luckily found a job at Disney where I have been working as a designer working primarily in the show mechanical department, designing animatronic figures and special effects. I have been at Disney since 2011. I have since reapplied back to UD to finish my masters and I did graduate in August 2024 with a masters in engineering management and two certificates as well. I am very interested in Six Sigma having taken a class on Six Sigma and I have a scheduled certification exam with ASQ on 08/19/24. Also interested in quality improvement and have recently found and became very interested in the teachings of W. Edwards Deming. The certificates I currently hold from UD are as follows: Certificate in Foundations of Engineering Management and Certificate in Systems Engineering Management. These are graduate level certificates for classes I have taken so far. On a personal level, I am a hockey fan, GO BOLTS! Love to play music, I play the bass guitar and I am an avid reader, usually of fiction with Stephen King being my favorite and I am a Dark Tower fan.
