August 2014 brought a great opportunity for me. I accepted a territory to manage all aspects of installed sales for The Home Depot Exteriors. Responsibility includes a 5 store Central Illinois region.

Case Management for Jeld-Wen Customer Care Wood Window Division. I am able to utilize my vast knowledge and understanding of products, installation, diagnosis, and resolution every minute of my day. We are the first line defensive team for dealer/builder/owner complaint and technical issues. I pride myself in fielding every question with a proper and professional answer. On a daily basis I reach to my experience in the industry to provide excellent and accurate service to every client I am in contact with. Happy and satisfied clients are my goal. I believe I excel because I care.

When the economic bubble burst for our industry, and no jobs could be found, I challenged myself by creating a network of my own. Sales Rep, Consultant, Installer, Field Service Tech, and Trainer were among my many titles depending on which day and where my travels found me. I successfully made lemonade from the lemons of unemployment. I am certain I never felt more satisfied by my work, but an injury combined with networking and perfect timing brought me to Jeld-Wen Windows & Doors. At Jeld-Wen I found a place to seamlessly transfer my vast experience to Customer Care / Service and Warranty case management in the wood window & door division.

From the production shop to the field to sales and sales management, in 25+ years I performed and accomplished every job and task including Operations, P&L and HR responsibilities. I have hired and trained personnel to do every job I learned hands-on. No formal education could ever teach a person what I learned in the trenches of a business I know, and am very happy to be a part of.
