In late 2012 Educational Resources began a partnership with Avantis Systems, Ltd. to distribute LearnPad mobile solutions in the United States. Worked in a dual role with LearnPad and Educational Resources to extend and improve LearnPad technologies in the web and tablet applications. LearnPad was primary development focus during this time.In 2015 dual role with LearnPad ended. Focus shifted to moving LearnPad software technologies to a Tier 1 device and rebranding the entire solution. Worked closely with Acer device software engineers to embed a system-level application in the A3-A30 device image. Led an outsource team of designers and developers to rebrand and re-engineer the LearnPad web portal client software as EdRedi.The rebranded EdRedi tablet/cloud platform launched using Acer A3-A30 tablet hardware in July 2015. The solution has been adopted in close to 100 school districts nationwide (both former LearnPad customers and new EdRedi customers).

Worked extensively with core systems on both the server and tablet application software to improve user experience, add instructional features, enhance reliability and responsiveness. Additionally, owned 3 major development efforts:- LearnPad OnSite: created a version of LearnPad client and server capable of operating in a closed network environment. Target markets are developing world markets and correctional educational environments. OnSite was piloted in Michoachan state in Mexico during 2104-15 school year. The solution is currently slated for a major deployment in the state of Oaxaca for the 2016-17 academic year.- ClassConnect App: created an Android mobile app and web service to allow teachers to manage and monitor student tablets from a personal mobile device. The application is embedded as a core app on the LearnPad Decimo small form-factor tablet.- Hatch Early Learning White Label: led the creation of a white-labeled version of the LearnPad server and client software for use with Hatch Early Learning's proprietary iStartSmart mobile device. Since the deployment of LearnPad technology Hatch has grown its deployed device base over 4×.

Shifted employment to Sunburst Digital from Ignite!, Inc. as part of a management-led acquisition of Sunburst Digital.Identified 3rd party products and technologies compatible with Sunburst Digital and Educational Resources core missions to provide superior digital products to K-12 customers. Suitable products were either on-boarded as portfolio partners in the Sunburst sales channel or acquired outright by Sunburst.In November of 2012 took on role as a principal architect and partner in an internally incubated startup called HMS Teach. Owned server-side, database architecture, and product roadmap for an innovative mobile solution (KnowItAll) used to create and manage educational content with mobile devices. Worked closely with front end architect, design, and marketing team through multiple RAD sprints to pilot the application in Q2 of 2013 and launch in Q3. The product was well-received by initial customers but the program was eventually discontinued and integrated with the more mature LearnPad technology.

Worked with an experienced team of artists, animators, instructional designers, and programmers to develop online and CD-ROM based educational software and games.
