Hiring, training and leading a team of interns to create, plan, and implement systems architectures and handle tier 1 tickets. • Designing a new network with 10 gig fiber between buildings; replacing problematic layer 2 switches with enterprise layer 3 switches increasing network performance; implementing network with over 30 VLANs ; configuring stateful firewall with IPS; i.e. Dell Sonicwall & Sophos routers.• Planning an extensive hardware update project, focused on low-latency SSDs and hardware standardization. This drastically increased user efficiency by reducing wait times and reducing downtime. • Upgrading analog CCTV security cameras to HD, IP based cameras. Reducing cost per camera from $1,000 to $150, and provides rapid deployment. Thereby enabling camera expansion from 20 to 70, reducing outdoor crime and increasing security and safety inside the school building.• Migrated email from Microsoft Exchange to G-Suite, saving $5,000 annually.• Installation of digital VoIP system reduced servicing expense, mitigating time/costs for changes.• Absorbed the outsourced consulting work saving $20,000 annually while maintaining department servicing levels.
