As an Inside Sales Representative with Cannondale I work with top quality Independent Bicycle Dealers (IBD's) throughout the country to ensure they are successful with our products. I work in conjunction with an outside sales team to offer the best dealer experience by providing fast, reliable support and tools that they can use to make educated buying decisions. This role has really taken my knowledge of Microsoft Excel to the next level. I am working on building custom reports that are used by the 80+ dealers that I service as well as the 4 Outside Sales Representatives that I work with. I've also gained experience in SAP BW during this role by utilizing it for order entry/manipulation and basic level reporting.

In this role I sold custom and seasonal apparel collections to leading Independent Bicycle Dealers and Specialty Run Accounts. Because I really enjoyed selling custom apparel, I gravitated towards opportunities that allowed me to work with the custom apparel team more. I also worked with the Director of Sales for Apparel to find and on-board new independent sales reps that would sell our apparel across North America. Sugoi was part of the Cycling Sports Group family of brands, so I was fortunate to continue working with those who I had built relationships with as an AHA specialist.

After 8 years as an independent sales rep, I was approached by Cycling Sports Group to join their sales team as an AHA (Apparel, Helmets, Accessories) Specialist. As an AHA specialist, I worked alongside account managers to grow revenue within their top accounts. During this time, I held clinics, presented product collections and created sales programs to drive additional sales in these categories. In 2016, I was the AHA specialist of the year by growing my annual sales 16%.

As an independent sales rep for Kevin Gamper & Associates I worked with retailers across multiple industries as a sales rep for multiple companies at a time. Though our focus was on selling bicycle, run and outdoor consumer goods, we also worked with podiatrists and chiropractors with some products. This role really helped me with managing my time across multiple tasks. As an independent rep, the number of opportunities was very large, but you needed to stay focused in order to grow your business.

Pulaski was a wonderful place to teach after college. I had a great mentor teacher and the science department was incredibly supportive for a new teacher out of college. While teaching there, I was able to work on my organizational skills and brought a lot of new ideas and resources into the school system. I presented to the department during professional development seminars on how to use the new standardized testing software and was able to collaborate with other Earth Science teachers in my department to simplify our course structure.
