A non-government organization dedicated to community development.ResponsibilitiesTo establish and maintain close links with HMG officials and GOs and NGOs involved in this sector; ensure the maintenance of proper accounting, financial procedures; visit different rural areas for needs assessment; plan and implement small scale community development projects; supervise and evaluate on-going community development projects; screen and hire project based and internal office staffs.Accomplishments:Conducted many surveys; conducted needs assessment on many rural areas; conducted many blood donation camps, health camps, dental and eye camps on rural areas; conducted income generation activities in different VDCs of Chitwan District, wrote many project reports; coordinated with other NGOs and INGOs for partnership programs; wrote quarterly and annual progress to the donor agencies abroad.

Responsibilities:Overall management of district-based health and development projects at Baglung district.Accomplishments:1. Program Development, Management and ImplementationAssessed and analyzed community health and training needs; coordinated with Regional Health Directorate, District Health Office, District Education Office, Institute of Medicine, SCF projects and other government and non-government organizations in the district for joint forward planning and implementation on health related issues; acted as focal person for Natural Disaster within SCF/Nepal; prepared and monitored annual project budget; developed the system of forward planning in the project and implemented project annual plan of action with various GO/NGOs/INGOs; provided program support to other agencies working-in/together; prepared a report on the need and use of ambulance in Baglung and forwarded the report to donor agencies for assistance.ii. Management Information SystemGuided in the establishment of documentation and information function; developed reporting system; wrote quarterly/annual reports for country office and headquarter; provided information feedback to program staff and beneficiaries; established regular meeting schedule to review and discuss on programmatic issues. iii. Human Resource ManagementScreened and recruited number of project staff; line managed 7 unit in-charges; provided support and supervised to 50 district based staff including para-medics; conducted regular in-service training and staff development training to staff members; developed curriculum and organized several training, workshop and meetings of different level to upgrade knowledge and skills of staff member.iv. Review, Monitoring and EvaluationDeveloped specific goals and objectives; process and impact indicators for program activities for effective monitoring of the program; performance evaluation and feed back with staff members; actively involved in evaluation of programs.
