Direct responsibility for the leadership and development of 4 departmental teams comprised of 50 full time associates, 25 seasonal associates and 12 club managers.

Responsible for resort operations; overseeing rooms division, food and beverage division, security and recreation departments. Total annual resort revenue of $38 million with departmental profit of 58% and GOP of 13%. Guest overall satisfaction rating of 82% and Meeting Planner satisfaction index (MPSI) rating of 4.65/5. 20,000 square feet of meeting space, the largest hotel meeting space in Aruba. Increased annual food and beverage revenues by 26.1% YOY. Raised food and beverage departmental profit by more than 300% YOY by introducing effective controls and SOP’s. Increased individual position rating of associate engagement index by 10% over prior year to 86.6%. Increased individual position rating of supervisor effectiveness index by 13% over prior year to 87.4%. Direct responsibility for the leadership and development of 325 full time associates, including 28 resort managers.

Responsible for the operation of all food and beverage venues encompassed in the 2500 acre resort and club serving private membership and hospitality resort guests. Raised Unifocus guest favorability rating to over 93% in all metrics, leading our luxury segment. Developed and expanded resort amenities; opening four additional revenue areas and expanding revenue from $2 million to over $13 million annually. Dining concepts include the Club House, Seven Eagles, the Water Park, Forte, Eleven, the Lobby Lounge, Banquets and Catering, On-Course Sales, and Reunion To-Go a resort wide delivery service. Team responsibility for the growth of 220 full time associates, including 30 Manager/ Chefs. Instrumental in the planning and hosting of annual resort events including the Reunion Home Coming Concert Series and The Ginn Open LPGA tournament.

Promoted to oversee the daily operation of 10 revenue outlets. Hollywood Prime, The Café Restaurant, Common Grounds, Splash Bar and Grille, Nikki Lounge, Satine, Nikki Marina, In-Room Dining, Honor Bar and Resort Banquet Operations with combined revenues in excess of $63 million annually. Reduced annual beverage cost resort wide by 2 points. Assisted in the redevelopment of the Café Restaurant into an Italian themed dining option and assisted in the conceptualizing of a resort sports bar concept, Rivals. Team development responsibility for 23 Managers including 8 Department Leaders.

Opening Director of Banquet operations for the resort hotel / convention center and country club. Combined Banquet Food and Beverage revenues of $37 million, the largest gross F&B Banquet revenue in Starwood Hotels. Achieved annual productivity factor of .15, an ASI rating of 78% and an MPSI rating of 4.70. Coordinated the original facility set up and opening of the 209,000 square foot convention facility and an 8,000 square foot country club meeting space. Responsible for the development and training of a departmental team of 200 Ambassadors including 5 Managers and 20 Supervisors.
