I am designated by Rockford as the Contractor Quality Control Manager & Site Safety & Health Officer. I am responsible for the overall management of the Quality Control Program. I report to the GM, PM & work directly with the superintendent. I perform daily implementation of the USACE Quality Control Program so as to meet or exceed the quality requirements of the contract specifications, drawings, and industry standards. I reviewed the contract specifications and drawings and enforce the installation of materials and equipment accordingly.

Completed a 2 million dollar MILCON DOD USACE Fuels project at Ft. Huachuca AZ.I was designated by Rockford as the Contractor Quality Control Manager & Site Safety & Health Officer. ExxonMobil’s Point Thomson oil exploration Project in Alaska. I executed and coordinated the receipt, staging and subsequent shipping (covering logistics of both marine and ground transport) of large quantities (ship load) of (OCTG) drill pipe from the Port of Seattle and Everett Washington to the Port of Anchorage AK and the Port of Valdez AK with s final destination of Prudhoe Bay, AK. During the offload and staging of pipe, I was responsible for Quality Control, segregation of pipe, visual inspection for damage, plugging of weep holes, inspection and tightening of thread protectors and coordinating a bolstering and shrink wrapping process which was performed at the Port of Seattle prior to barge load out. My role was broad scope, encompassing materials management, statistics, inventory tracking, personnel housing, manifesting, fuel resupply, and transportation coordination (overland, sea and air). Additionally, I was responsible for Environmental Health & Safety of the project, to include employee health and safety, as well as incident response and the coordination of the projects satellite waste area for batteries, hazardous, and other project waste being transported via land/air transport. I was also responsible for inventory and inspection of incoming drilling materials, pups, drill pipe, well casings ECT and subsequent reporting to the drill rig superintendent for both the mobilization and demobilization process. Utilized outstanding organizational and planning skills to oversee the construction of three man camps, four aviation runways, a marine port, helicopter landing pads, two staging areas, and over 120 miles of ice road to support a five well drilling program in Alaska NPRA region at Cape Simpson Alaska. The aviation runways included a 5000' ice runway with precision GPS approach, VASI landing lights, weather reporting station, and a fuel depot.* Ensured on-time shipments to meet individual client demands.

As Senior Logistics Field Manager for PRL Logistics I was responsible for oversight of all aspects of field operations including management of personnel, encampment construction/operations; management and disposal of project generated waste, inventory and quality control of critical materials, transportation coordination (barging and other marine operations, trucking, aircraft and helicopters) and organization of onsite subcontractors .I am a member of PRL’s Incident Management Team for the State of Alaska Spill Response and represent PRL in support of multiple client contingency plans and I am qualified to work under the Unified Command as the On-Scene Coordinator, Deputy Incident Commander and Logistics Section Chief. As part of the Gallagher Marine Incident Management Team (IMT), I held multiple positions for Logistics supporting oil spill cleanup activities for the Selendang Ayu freighter that ran aground in Dutch Harbor in December 2004. Positions I supported include Supply Unit Leader, Deputy Logistics Section Chief, and Logistics Section Chief. In these roles, I coordinated the logistics activities of multiple subcontractors for air/sea/land charters, inbound and outbound freight, resupply, fixed wing and rotor air transportation, lodging, and security for the Incident Command Center operated by Gallagher Marine Services. I also supervised loading and inventory of all waste barges transporting contaminated petroleum products, and contaminated waste for barge transport and monitored the fuel lightering and the transfer to ISO’s containers.

I owned and operated Alaska Truck & Gear in Fairbanks, Alaska; a 15,000 sq. ft. truck, trailer and heavy equipment maintenance, welding shop, rebuild facility and heavy equipment parts store servicing Interior Alaska and the North Slope. Operations included Cummins, Detroit, and Caterpillar sales/warranty. We sold Freightliner trucks, Smith side dumps and a large variety of parts and supporting equipment. We serviced and maintained large and small fleets of trucks and equipment in the transportation, construction, mining and oil industries throughout the interior and north slope of Alaska.

I was Store and Sales Manager for Tire Distribution Systems (Bandag, Inc.) out of Fairbanks, Alaska. I was responsible for $6 million in inventory and managing/overseeing commercial, retail, and wholesale operations of a company-owned tire and retread plant store that serviced interior Alaska and the North Slope. I have an extensive background in OTR (Off road tire), commercial tires and retreading for the construction, mining and oilfield industries.

My responsibilities included everything from ordering and inventory control to transportation coordination.
