As the Design Engineering Intern in the Public Works Department I drafted construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and superimposed drawings into real-world photos for eventual City Council approval. I created an Asset Management database, using ArcGIS, mapping all traffic control devices constructed, City maintenance locations, and Adopt-a-Spots within city limits while evaluating properties for site development.

Worked with a team of fellow interns in the inspection and maintenance of over 200 stormwater best management practices (BMP 's) across the City of Columbia. The BMP's construction and upkeep are a requirement for the EPA's MS4 permit.
