I have over 30 years of real estate finance and capital markets experience. As President of DT Capital Group, I identify and analyze lending opportunities, as well as structure complex real estate lending structures across the US. DT Capital advised on the closing of $1.71 Billion in loans during its first year of operation. Prior to DT Capital, I created and led the Real Estate Specialties Group (“RESG”) for Bank of the Ozarks (now Bank OZK) ultimately rising to become Chief Lending Officer and Vice Chairman of the Bank. Under my leadership, RESG originated, closed and serviced approximately $24.59 Billion of senior debt across more than 800 transactions. Prior to my time at RESG, I served as chief operating officer for a commercial real estate firm, a practice leader (real estate consulting) for Ernst & Young and as an attorney with Baker & McKenzie LLP.
