I am honored to serve as Chief Meteorologist at KTUL. I am responsible for forecasting and delivering our 5, 6. and 10pm weathercasts. Our team of meteorologists provide around-the-clock severe weather protection for NE Oklahoma.

- Provides leadership, direction, and oversight for marketing and communications - Coordinates advertising, web services and community partnerships- Negotiates all advertising contracts and manages our social media efforts- Serves at the Public Information Officer- Implementing marketing plan for academic medicine and OSU physician clinics- Supervise our organization’s marketing to increase brand awareness - Have written both television and radio commercials for our University

Served as a producer, as well as on air talent for newscasts.

I taught basic meteorology. Students gained an understand of how the eco-system worked and how weather is generated. I focused on various triggers to severe storms and a healthy dose of safety information.

- Emmy award winning meteorologist 2006, 2007 and 2012- Provided leadership and direction for newsroom team - Directed, trained and managed team of 4 meteorologists on severe weather and other events - Improved ratings of the 6 p.m. newscast from #4 to #2 - Created numerous community relationship partnerships throughout the Tulsa area- Developed a larger network of storm chasers/spotters, providing them additional training based on past personal experience- Wrote and produced science related stories and sweeps pieces for the station- Presented safety weather presentations to over 100 of civic clubs, businesses and schools

- Prepared and delivered the weather forecasts for the station- Engaged in on the ground as well as helicopter storm chasing and reporting- Assisted in scheduling of reporting as well as production of weather related broadcast segments- Compiled and developed sweep stories as well as original web content for the station- Assisted the Chief in all severe weather efforts
