AAT Level 2 qualified Trainee Accountant working in accountancy practice alongside studying the AAT Level 3 qualification. Preparation of year end accounts primarily for sole traders and partnerships. Performing such duties as writing up the books, reconciliation of the bank account, updating the fixed asset register both to account for any acquisitions/disposals and to calculate depreciation charges for the year, preparation of the trial and extended trial balance and finally drafting the profit and loss statement and the balance sheet.
