Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Reporting to/meeting with State and Federal agencies; provide regulatory guidance related to Water Pollution Control, Water Resources, Wastewater Treatment, Petroleum Contaminated Soils Management, and Public Water System Operations; preparing and submitting quarterly and annual reports, conducting weekly facility inspections as required by the various permits; coordinating and conducting field water quality monitoring events; developing and implementation of an underground water quality monitoring program for tracking and gathering baseline water quality data.

Alaska

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Overseeing and performing duties related to environmental baseline studies such as - Surface Water Quality Sampling, Monitoring Well Water Quality Sampling, Thermistor and Vibrating wire data collection, downloading data from pressure transducers, stream flow measurements, calibrating continuous air quality samplers, collecting dry and wet mercury deposition samples, and maintaining meteorological equipment; implementing the Spill Prevention Containment and Countermeasures (SPCC) plan, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), operation of the potable water and wastewater systems; and acted as liaison between environmental subcontractors and camp operations. This role required me to perform my duties in adverse weather conditions and challenging terrain; as well as a great deal of self-determination and the ability to make sound decisions
