Joined the Tumbleweed team as employee number eight. Performed initial planning and built the Tumbleweed technical support and quality assurance departments from the ground up. Hired and trained support and QA staff. Managed both support and quality assurance teams through initial buildout phase. Concentrated on tech support management when Tumbleweed grew to need separate Tech Support and Engineering QA departments, and subsequently took on the role of QA Manager for Tumbleweed's Professional Services Organization. Produced and edited departmental documentation, both online and in hardcopy form, and assisted with the creation and editing of the corporate intranet.
