Position Objective – Maintain company and project compliance with NRC government regulations and ASME Section III Div. 1, construction codes for pumps and valves for the nuclear power industry.  Lead Auditor - Conducting audits and surveys for ISO-9001, ASME NQA1, NCA-4200, 10CFR50 App. B, and 10CFR21.- External Audits of vendors for products materials and services.- Internal Audits – Creating checklists, performing audits, scheduling and assigning auditors.- Writing and answering material and procedural NCRs (Non Conformance Reports). Inspection and vendor on-site oversight of many different vendors manufacturing processes and services. - Oversight - Machining, Welding , Hard-facing, Heat treating, Material Testing, Plating , Painting, NDE/NDT, Balancing Rotating Equipment, and Assembly and Performance Testing of pumps, valves and energetics.- Inspections - Visual,, Mechanical and Electrical, Blasting and Painting, Checking or performing calibrations using standards.- Testing – Hydro, Helium leak, Performance testing of energetics, Actuators, Centrifugal and Reciprocating piston pumps.  Manufacturing/ Quality - Creating, reviewing and approving of all internal and vendor manufacturing processes and documentation.- Internal - purchase orders, sales orders, procedures, routers, dimensional records, selecting and improving manufacturing processes.- Provide training and assist vendors implement new quality programs and manufacturing systems to meet production schedules and improve product/part yield.  Oversee Calibration and Material Testing sections of the quality system. - Calibration System - Gage management, purchasing inspection equipment, calibration services and cert review. - Material Testing – Writing purchase orders and reviewing certificate results to ASME, ASTM and other standards for metals, elastomers, water quality, and production consumables. Create PMI testing reports.

Manage new high end custom architectural product line.(windows, doors, mullions and fixed units)– Review and manage projects (Pricing, Drawings, Processes, etc.)- Maintaining a Fabrication Schedule- Obtaining quotes and coordinating with vendors, and suppliers- Create manufacturing processes and improve existing ones- Improved manufacturing cost by 50% with the use of process improvements- The largest project was a New York City penthouse and lobby.

Project/Design Engineer PSB Industries, Erie, PA Nov 2006 – July 2014 - Project Engineer for standard and custom liquid and gas dryer packages. - Drawing review and approvals (P&IDs, Electrical schematics, Piping, Skid & Vessels.)- Writing instruction Manuals, test procedures, quality control procedures (NQAM). - Manage and review the designs and fabrication of customer designed projects including, vessels, piping skids, coal separation equipment, and sterilizers (autoclaves). - Designed vessels, heat exchanges, filter housings, valve bodies, piping and component selection (Heat exchangers, blowers, electric heaters, flow and measurement equipment, valves etc.) for standard natural gas (CNG) dryer product line.- Obtained Canadian Registration for dryers to allow installation in at least 8 Canadian Provinces.- Designs per ASME Section VIII, Div.1 (vessels), ASME B31.3 (Piping design and analysis).* Engineering manager under NQAM - Assisted with obtaining the certification for ASME nuclear fabrication and assembly per Section III Div.1- Review of purchase order documents from customers to ensure code compliance of designs and quality documents.
