Phoenix Communications VA was founded on October 22, 2010 by Dan Vance and Danny Cruff. Vance, a native of Indiana, and Cruff, a Roanoke native with ties to Salem and Southeast County, worked together previously at a publication and put the wheels of Phoenix in motion in May. The company specializes in promotional material, photography and publications, among other ventures. Vinton Key is an annual town/visitors guide specifically for Vinton.An in-house studio also allows for the business to expand the wedding, portrait and team photo options brought into the fold through Danny Cruff Photography, which is a featured attraction of the Phoenix Communications VA banner.
