I love to find creative solutions and ask questions. How else could we do this? What do we learn if we come together or if we apply experience from a different context? I’ve worked with dozens of non-profit organizations over the last 20+ years – from municipal government, to community-wide collaborations, small neighbourhood associations to United Ways. This breadth of experience in numerous community-based issues allows me to cross-fertilize ideas and apply insights for unique solutions.I started working in architecture and homelessness community work, and after volunteering for Habitat for Humanity in Belfast, came back to Waterloo Region to work with community organizations and municipal government. Over the years I have specialized in a range of topics including immigrant issues, neighbourhood development, peer programming, and health promotion. My work is rooted in building trusting relationships and bringing people together as partners. I bring skills in project leadership and strategic planning, research and program evaluation, and community-wide collaborations. I excel in building teams and community relationships that work.
