Responsibilities: Monitoring Air Canada's reservation system. Manage zSeries Mainframes in a TPF environment. Monitor and run batch jobs using MVS, Jobtrack and SDSF. Perform changes on Air Canada's systems following change process guidelines. Monitor systems and recommend improvements to automation. Provide 2nd level support to the HD as they receive calls from the field. Responsible for Tech dispatch to fix equipment used by Air Canada and Via Rail. Fault handling and escalation to various support groups, liaising with 3rd party suppliers, handling escalation through to resolution. Preforming disaster recovery fall back / fall forward testing.
