I am a Chartered Building Surveyor and Director at Colliers who are one of the UK's largest project and building consultancies.I head up and lead the Building Surveying team in Bristol and I’m joint head of the wider Project & Building Consultancy team in our Bristol office, where we service the South West and South Wales. I have over 15 years experience in the commercial property market where I have gained a wealth of experience across the full spectrum of Building Surveying disciplines across all aspects of the property life cycle including, acquisition, occupation and disposal.I have considerable experience in undertaking large portfolio acquisitions and have extensive experience in handling and negotiating complex dilapidations claims resulting in some envious results. I also have Project Management experience having undertaken complex schemes on a variety of property types including Grade A office fit outs, conversion of high end residential apartments, industrial new builds and specialist insurance remediation projects.I have also acted in the capacity of 'Expert Witness' and have successful litigation experience where I have given both written and oral evidence to the Court, with my client winning the case on each occasion.My specialties include: Commercial Acquisition Surveys, Dilapidations, Project Management, Contract Administration, Project Monitoring, Schedules of Condition, Defect Diagnosis, Reinstatement Cost Assessments and Planned Preventative Maintenance.
