- Facilitation of the design, implementation, and daily management routines for a 'Model Unit' to serve as the standard for inpatient care across all sites. First year results reflect a 15% reduction in cost of care.
- Consultation, instruction, and facilitation of Value Stream efforts to improve flow of patients through two urban hospitals. Efforts have resulted in sustained 33% reduction in waiting time for patients admitted.
- Led the design and implementation of a Management System across five hospitals to create alignment to strategic aims, engagement among leaders and staff towards annual objectives, and support a portfolio of cascaded.
- Coached Executive-level steering team through annual, quarterly, and weekly routines to manage a portfolio of improvement efforts with annual financial return of $50M - $65M and improved patient and staff safety.
- Supervised team of Sr. Lean Facilitators responsible for developing Lean (Value by Design) capabilities among leaders and staff through process improvement facilitation and leader coaching.
