Eco-Web, established in July of 2005, is a limited company with two primary shareholders, Dan and Joanna Webster. Dan is a Professional Agrologist and a Registered Professional Biologist with nineteen years’ experience in the oil and gas environmental consulting industry. Dan’s experience includes a cradle to grave suite of skills from initial project planning, environmental assessments, mitigation planning and applications, construction supervision and monitoring, drilling, emergency spill response and remediation and final reclamation.Eco-Web’s team is comprised of a focused group of dedicated professionals and sub-contractors. Eco-Web is divided into five main service categories; Ecological, Hydrology, Reclamation, Emergency Spill Response (including our new Wildlife Management Division) and Waste Management services.

I spent almost eight years at Alpine as first area supervisor then Fort St. John Area Manager and as such was responsible for business planning and budgeting, maintaining client and government relationships, sales and marketing, hiring, training and mentoring of new staff, project management and supervision of daily operations. I also assisted in the daily operations and management of Nahendeh Land and Environmental, a First Nation owned environmental company based out of Fort Liard, NWT as part of his duties at Alpine. In September of 2003, I obtained my Professional Agrologist standing with the BC Institute of Agrologists. I left Alpine in July of 2005 to start my own company with my wife Joanna.

I began my career at Longstaff Land Surveying in the summer of 1995. I was hired to work in the survey company’s land department to address environmental issues (stream crossings, wildlife concerns and soil surveys) on proposed oil and gas developments and also gained land agent experience including government referrals, public and first nations consultation and private land surface lease negotiations. I continued with Longstaff until early 1998 before moving to an area supervisor position with Alpine Environmental Ltd.
