With Digital Science still a growing team and field within AbbVie, I wear many hats working within the Immunology therapeutic area on phase 1 to phase 4 studies including collaborative work with teams from data science/stats operations, medical affairs, commercial, regulatory, and others.

My research focused on decentralized research studies using digital health technologies to frequently measure and manage disease in real-world settings. Highlights include:- Founding and managing the public/private, pre-competitive Psorcast Digital Biomarker Consortium with PPACMAN, Novartis, UCB, Pfizer, and Janssen- PI on the Psorcast Open Study (www.psorcast.org)- Led the development of the Psorcast iOS study app and other private study apps by leading a team comprising experts in design, engineering, governance, compliance, communications, and data science - Leading the Digital Health Technology effort from Sage Bionetworks in the million-participant All of Us Research Program

Discovery and CRISPRi screening of long, non-coding RNAs in DLBCL

My work in the laboratory of Paul Khavari combined bench-based experimental work with bioinformatic analysis and genomics to understand the non-coding genome. My projects involved the discovery of multiple novel lncRNAs that control skin progenitor and differentiation as well as a tissue-specific enhancer element that controls drug resistance to BRAF inhibition in melanoma.
