I have been working in the freight industry since September 1988/ 89. I have a good knowledge about Sea and Air both Import as well as Export. My strength would be the Singapore Customs cargo clearance, document procedures and other Controlling Authority formalities.To talk a bit more about myself. I have worked in a few freight forwarding companies. One such firms, was an international Japanese organization which I have worked for almost 20 years; and I was the Head of Department (H.O.D.) for the Sea Freight Division for more than 10 years. As the H.O.D., I report directly to the company's Director and Managing Director. (If given a chance, I would still prefer to work in a Japanese firm.) I left the good office in September 2012. I was holding the post of Logistics Manager for two local companies for another 2 years before I joined Omni All In (Singapore) Pte. Ltd in October 2014 as an Assistant Manager. Long story short, I was promoted to a full Manager's position again in November 2021. However, my interest is still to be a Air/ Sea Import Manager so, I am open to this position because I enjoy dealing with the authority e.g., Customs, ICA and other governing bodies. Please contact me if you are looking for an Import Manager. To sum it up. Yes, I have a lot of experience in the freight industry. Besides that, I also acquired to manage people under my care. In my personal opinion, motivation and encouragement is probably the best way to get the team's productivity up. Apart from that, coaching and developing potential staff as well as inspiring creativity among the people is vital for progress in an organization.
